Hampton VA Medical Center
The Beneficiary Travel program provides eligible Veterans and other beneficiaries mileage reimbursement, common carrier (plane, train, bus, taxi, light rail etc.), or when medically indicated, "special mode" (ambulance, wheelchair van) transport for travel to and from VA health care, or VA authorized non-VA health care for which the Veteran is eligible. In the past travel claim forms were to be submitted in person; however, VA now offers Veterans the option to use Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). The EFT Beneficiary Travel payments are faster and trackable for Veterans. Veterans may now establish an account with the Financial Service Center (FSC) to have full access to track EFTs deposited in their bank accounts.
The steps on how to complete the EFT forms and sign up process are listed below.
Step 1: Sign up for EFT via the Vendorization Form under the "Resources" tab. EFT is safe, secure, efficient, and faster payment than paper checks
Step 2: Sign up to be able to see full details of all EFT payments made via the Vendor Inquiry System (available online 365 days a year 24/7)
Step 3: Enjoy hassle-free payments with your full account details at your figure tips.
