Leadership

Welcome! We are pleased that you have taken this opportunity to visit our web site. This site is a new and exciting part of our commitment to make your experience with our Medical Center as personal and as individual as we can!

Hampton VA Medical Center is the fourth oldest VA health care facility in the nation.  It originally opened its doors on October 17, 1870, as the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers and Sailors.  Over its history, Hampton VAMC has evolved from being an Old Soldier's Home to being widely known for excellence in patient care, education and research.

Please consider this site as an extension of our relationship with you as a member of our community, a veteran, a patient, or family member of one of our patients. The content has been organized so that you can easily find the information you need, and we have made it easy to reach us should you need more assistance.

While you are here, please take some time to set up your own profile in My HealtheVet. At My HealtheVet, you can read more about what interests you, as well as manage your prescriptions, appointments, and other medical information.

Again, welcome to VAMC Hampton and thank you for entrusting your health care needs to our facility.
